So I heard Carpenter at the baby gate:
"Mom"
"Mom"
"MOM!" very loud and impatiently waiting said by Carpenter
"Sta-ceee"
He clearly said my name! I was so excited, I called Jon! I guess he had been listening to Sadie! Carpenter figured if yelling for mom wouldn't work he would try another name in his Rolodex!
So Proud!

Emma does the same thing! She'll call for Mommy or Daddy several times, but if we don't answer she starts calling for Natalie or Chad.
My kids do the same thing. And I love it, too. Way to go, Carpenter!

I'm surprised he didn't call you Mama Long, I knew Sadie was calling you that but I didn't realize she was calling you Stacey. :) When he talked to me on the phone today I felt he was much clearer saying things to me. He is making big progress.
