An Update Finally

Sunday January 27
Church! For the am we went to our local church. But later that night Jon and I took Rowan to a new church! And I am talking new! This was their third meeting, they just got the heat turned on! It is in downtown Greenville in an old gothic style church that had been closed a while. The church is called the Rescue. It is from the same people who started DCF in Clemson, if anyone knows who that is. It really took me out of my comfort zone. I am by nature an extremely shy person. Like I always go through the drive thru if possible, like at the bank I will drive up to the third lane. Back to the church visit, it was just a gather of a few people with candle lights in the windows and construction going on. I love our church! But I love the appeal of the new church, gathering of the few. The deepest desire from everyone wanting to really apply what the Lord is teaching them. To reach the community. Sometimes when a church gets so big, desires to serve get pushed aside for tradition. I am not making the point I want to make well, but I am living off of 4 horrible hours of sleep.

Monday January 28
School school and more school. I have been picking up Carpenter a little later from school and Sadie can not stay awake in the car. So she sleeps 30 minutes and then will not take a nap when she comes home. Which makes her really cranky by about 6pm. Not a pretty sight!

Tuesday January 29
School! Homework! Jadda jaddda jadda. Sadie falling asleep! Ugh! Later that night, it is Daniel bible study night! Tammy always picks me up! I love my bible study, but I almost fell asleep! I haven't slept well lately and am just drained!

Wednesday January 30
Pick up Carpenter from school! Later that night we ate supper at my mom's because Taylor came home! The kids loved seeing Dog Dog! AKA Zip! And the horses! Jon enjoyed his prayer group!

Thursday January 31
Crazy busy day! 8am Mrs. Patty(Carpenter's SI) came over for his hourly session. Next to downtown Greenville for speech with Mrs. Donna. Jon meets with the insurance people! We owe money! Not good news! Next we met Brian and Jen at the Poinsett at the Westend of Greenville at 4:30. We had an awesome time with them. We were able to fill in for the best man and his wife and go to the tasting for their wedding reception! It was awesome! We got to try so much food! Thank you Brian and Jen for inviting us! We can't wait for the wedding! That was over at 6pm and we headed off to meet my mom and the 5 kids(Marley, Milli, Carpenter, Sadie, and Rowan) at the Chick-Fil-A on Woodruff road. The kids ate real quick and I breast fed Rowan. Next we were off to the circus at 7:30! The circus was awesome. Getting from the parking deck to the circus was horrible. I am not lying horrible! We we just had two litte one's Jon could hold Carpenter and I could grab Sadie. With Rowan thrown into the mix we didn't have enough hands. But the kids absolutley loved the circus! We met Missy, Bailey, and Kyle up there. We really didn't get to talk to them enough though! Rowan didn't fall asleep til the elephants! Which is close to the end. He was just so stimulated from all the lights and sounds! I know Tracey and Mike are going to kill us! We didn't get Milli home til after 10:30. But I had packed the kids Pj's so I changed them in the parking deck. So once we got home we put the kids straight to bed! Exhausted!

Friday February 1
Marley was late for school! Due to us getting in so late! After I picked Carpenter up we went straight to Jelly Beans and got Carpenter's hair cut! We also got Sadie's first hair cut! She loved it! I also got my eyebrows waxed! Which is awesome that they do that because I do not have enough time to go get it done by myself! My eyebrows were looking scary! Granny had surgery today and it took longer than expected!

Saturday February 2
Can't remember but I know it was busy! Later that afternoon Brian and Jen came by and so we could spend some time with them before they went back to DC. He brought his dog Maggie, which was one of our old dog Holly's puppies!

Sunday February 3
We didn't make it to Sunday school! I had a rough night up with the kids and so I couldn't get everyone together in time! We had bed baby nursery! Which was really like Long nursery! Because 3 of our kids are in the nursery area! Super Bowl, but we didn't watch it this year! Which is really weird for us! We watched the movie the Kingdom. We also watched Bourne this week! I can't believe I could stay up and watch them! They both were so intense that I couldn't fall asleep!

Monday February 4
Took Carpenter to school. Next, Sadie had her 2 year old check up at the doctor. So it was Rowan, Sadie, and I. Then we picked up Carpenter. I cooked an awesome supper! But only Jon and I ate it! I was so upset! It was awesome and the kids wouldn't eat it! I stayed up late and finished my Daniel study for the week! Then Jon and I stayed up late discussin the correalation between Daniel and Revelation! Intense stuff!

Tuesday February 5
Carpenter had and 9:30 appointment with the ENT(Dr. Cooter)! Thank goodness Jon could go with me! It is so hard to take the three little ones. Into the building, up to the 5th floor, but the hardest is filling out all the paper work! Bible study night! It was awesome tonight! We stayed way over time but discussed the end times and what different people believe will happen! I am soo blessed to be apart of such a wonderful groups of women! This Daniel bible study is intense but is really well worth it!

Wednesday February 6
Carpenter and Marley school! I went to the grocery store! I put Sadie in the seat and held Rowan! We got as much groceries as I could! It is just so hard to get shop with the kids! But we were completely out of everything, so I had to go! And of course it started raining! Later that afternoon I had to take Sadie and Marley to the doctor! Sadie had an ear infection and Marley didn't have strep! Jon has his men's group! Spirtual growth is going on in that group, I am so proud of them all!

I am soo sleepy! Please continue to pray for Granny who is at MUSC! Also pray for Neddy Stoddard who is at Wake Forrest due to problems with kidney transplant! Also pray for Kelly who lost her Grandmother! Please also continue to pray for Caylyn and David. David got to come home from the hospital and pray that his parents will be bale to keep up with all the meds and homelife! And Caylyn is off the dialysis machine! She is one person who needs a miracle and God may be giving it to her and her family! God is good!
