Strawberry Patch/Reedy River Duck Run

Carpenter's class went to the Strawberry Patch on Friday! So we took everyone except Marley because she was in school! The kids had a difficult time understanding how to gently pull the strawberries off of the vine! So right now in my frig there are some smooshed berries! We all had a great time! We always get lost at this Strawberry Patch, it is out in the boonies!

SADIE STRIKES AGAIN!

So Sadie feel asleep in the car on the way home from the S. Patch! So after lunch I went to lay her down in her bed! Sometimes it is hard for her to sleep, because she feels rejuvenated after 15 minutes! Well I got the boys asleep and I hear Sadie calling me from her room. I go in there to find Sadie covered in Elmer's white glue! She had put the glue all over her arms and legs! Thank God, not in her hair! Her sheets were a mess! So I couldn't give her a bath or I would wake up the boys! So she had a bath in the kitchen sink! I cleaned her up! This was her second bath of the day, I gave Sadie and Carpenter a bath before the field trip. Anyway, I got her dressed and was going to lay her down in Marley's bed. I look on the dresser that separates the girls beds, and there are puddles of white glue all over it! Then I see Marley's fish tank bubbling! She had put the white glue in the fish tank! So I had to have an emergency evacuation of Marley's fish, Fins! I wasn't sure he would make it! Right now, Fins, is living in a mason jar and seems to have survived his murder attempt! This was all done without the boys waking up! No pictures of this I was way too angry!

About 6 pm, I was exhausted! I hadn't felt like this in a while! I felt all of my energy was drained from my body! It was horrible! I felt like I physically couldn't get up! My head hurt, muscles weak, and had a blocked milk duct! Lovely!

Saturday morning! Carpenter had his baseball game at Falls Park! So we took the whole family and Milli with us! My van was full! I hope everyone had a good time! Carpenter was pitching alot of fits! He wanted to play with Marley and Milli and not play his game! It was alot of work and walking! The Reedy River Duck Derby was raising funds for the MML! Carpenter has a duck! So our chances to win our very slim! We went out to eat at O' Charley's (because we tthought kids ate free, but they don't anymore! So don't waste your money, it's not my favorite place to go!)! Going out to eat with 2 adults and 5 kids is fun! Everyone should do it!
