I just wanted everyone to pray for the Bachman family. Their beautiful daughter, Caylyn, passed away yesterday afternoon. She had battled cancer for almost 2 years. Please also pray for the Wooten family. Cameron, is a friend of Jonathan's from childhood, and has been diagnosed with leukemia. His wife, Lyn, is expecting their first child in a few weeks. This is a rapid form that we lost our young friend, Johnny Burry to. Also while all of this was going on, Cameron's mom Mrs. Donna Wooten, had to have emergency surgery for a hole in her colon. She will be in the hospital for a few weeks also! Please pray for this family!
I don't know, maybe it is that I am older now, and don't remember heartaches from my childhood. I feel like cancer is all around us. Devastating blows are hit close to home. The struggle is great! Comfort from the Lord sustains me!

Caylin's mother's journal is amazing. Just like you Stacey, I'm not sure I could have handled it with as much grace, dignity, and faith that she has shown. Looking at the messages on the guestbook, it warms your heart that a little 6year old has influenced and inspired so many peoples lives. I feel so thankful that the problems Carpenter has are not the same magnitude of so many of the DS children.
